Daily Dog
Walking:
STREETSBORO ONLY: 1-5
days, Mon-Fri, between 9:30am
to 3:30pm. Weekends can be arranged.
Short term and occasional walks also available. (Extra walks before 9:30am or after 3:30pm can be added for an additional fee.) Examples: you have a doctors appointment, are going to lunch and shopping with a friend, or working late, and can't get back to let the dogs out, or you have someone to walk your dog before and after work, but not during the day. Call us. We will fit them into our schedule. AURORA/HUDSON: Dogs can be walked as short term, or occasionals. Puppies: (under 1 year)-Daily mid-day visits help your puppy get exercise and reinforces house training. Proper house training requires a consistent schedule of bathroom breaks. Crate trained puppies need to get out every 3-4 hours to help maintain training, to socialize and to get exercise. Exercise and light playtime are a good release for pent up puppy energy. Our dog walkers can make daily visits of approximately 20 minutes each. Note: We schedule puppies walks within a 40 minute window. Adults: Adult dogs need the regular exercise of walking to ensure good physical and mental health. Owners who work long hours can depend on us to walk their dogs weekdays when their time is most limited. Crated dogs are needful of a mid-day leg stretch and potty break. Over-crating and under exercise can result in hyperactivity when released and under-socialization making a dog harder to train. Note: We schedule walks for healthy adult dogs within an approximately 60 minute window. Older Adult: Older dogs often need more frequent bathroom breaks. When older dogs have accidents, they often become stressed because they were trained to go outside but just can't 'hold it' any longer The dog is embarrassed, and the frustrated owner may end up confining the older dog. Our dog walkers can make life easier and happier for all concerned by providing daily walks for your older dog. Note: We schedule walks for older dogs on average within a 30 to 60 minute window, depending on your dog's need. Toy: Toy dogs (little cuties) fall into all categories. Some smaller do not need as much time exercising, but they do need their doggie walk. Unscheduled: Sometimes you can't help getting held up after work by a meeting, a surprise dinner, or a sudden need to do last minute shopping. No need to feel guilty. We understand your pet needs a break. Relax. With notice, we can do an additional walk and/or feed (20-25 minutes) for a last minute fee. Pet Runabout: Pets who are well groomed and healthy seem happier and are generally get along better. We can drop-off and/or pick-up pets at the groomer or veterinarian. We can wait, if the appointment is a short one.

(Out-of-Town: visitors to local area, and guests at local pet friendly hotels. We can visit your pet to feed, socialize, and/or give exercise/potty break. Contact us (mail@petcareplus.biz or 330-256-7045) for details.) While you are away your pets need time to play and socialize. Having TLC in familiar surroundings during your absence not only makes it easier for your pet to except your absence, but you can relax knowing your pet is being provided care according to your instructions. An important factor is that we make every effort to maintain your pets' regular schedule. We are prepared for your home and pets special routines by our Awareness Interview and can offer a nearly seamless transition. We have experience giving pills, and injections. In addition to making your pet happier, we do our "lived-in" look activities (open and close drapes, bring in the mail, newspaper, and packages, etc.) Your pet is fed and given fresh water, we scoop what happens while we are there (not previous yard waste) Note: Generally, Daily Visits are a minimum of three, 25-30 minute visits for dogs; usually one or two 25-30 minute visit for cats. Some cats, dogs and other critters may need only 15 minutes. Arrangements can be made, if your pet needs more attention, more than the minimum number of visits, or a time alternative. Overnights: Some pets are people pets and need the extra emotional support of someone being with them overnight. Some pets have special needs and need the added security of an overnight sitter. A pet sitter will stay in your home to help your pet feel more secure and this activity will also give your home an added measure of "lived-in" activity (bring in mail, newspaper, and packages. Alter blinds, window treatments and lights. We do light houseplant watering and can fill outdoor bird feeders.) We are able to give your pets pills, and injections. Your pet gets fed (per your instructions), fresh water, and dogs are exercised. Litter boxes will be scooped daily, and clean for your return. Note: An overnight stay is typically between 7-8pm until 7-7:30am. For extended stays we visit your pet during the day time based upon pet needs and upon sitters availability from rounds to other clients. Special Notes: We understand that each home and daily pet care routine is unique. Please help us care for your home and pets in the best way possible by letting us know of any special instructions that may be unique to your home and /or pets. Please make sure to provide us with any special instructions by completing all information as requested on our forms and, if necessary, on an additional sheet of paper. Think about what your routines are before our visit, and make a note to yourself so you can share the information with us during the Awareness Interview. House Sitting With a Pet: Follows much the same activity as the Overnights discussed above and has the benefit of our "lived-in" home activities: bring in mail, newspaper, and packages. Alter blinds, window treatments and lights. We do light houseplant watering and can fill outdoor bird feeders. Note: Watering many deck plants and/or gardens; checking pools and/or hot tubs are services which may require additional fees.. House Sitting Without a Pet: We put you on a daily schedule making a minimum of two visits. We can do more visits at your request and we can also do overnights to offer you a feeling of more security. While in your home we do "lived-in" home activities: bring in mail, packages, and newspaper. We alter blinds, window treatments and lights. We do light houseplant watering and can fill outdoor feeders, but please remember we ARE NOT a security firm! Note: Watering many deck plants and gardens, or checking pools and/or hot tubs are services which may require additional fee.
