Do dogs need to be licensed and vaccinated?

Yes, all municipalities require dog licensing, and it is best this law be followed for the welfare of our pet community. Licenses are readily available through the county in which you live. Vaccinations are important because illness can be easily spread from one animal to another. All animals should be vaccinated, but all animals receiving daily walks, or who regularly come into contact with other animals, must be vaccinated. Please make copies of your pets vaccination record's to be given to our staff at your Awareness Interview-thanks.

How much notice do you need for a cancellation?

At least 48 hours to receive any refund.  Exceptions being a dog walk, or a pet visit, which is cancelled, and the cancellation is agreed to by us, due to conditions, such as extreme weather, which could endanger pets or sitters.

Note: when you contract our service, you have reserved a slot on our schedule, and we cannot schedule another client for that same slot.

Why do I need to sign a contract?

The contract/agreement states that you allow us to enter your home to care for your home, your pets and/or plants. Also that you are aware of and agree to our policies/procedures, and understand your payment requirements for services performed, and that you agree to fully inform us of all information necessary for us to perform our service in the best interest and safety of pets, homes and sitters. It is essential that all parties know what their responsibilities are.

Will my dog walker give my dog individualized attention?

Yes. We take time to give TLC to all of our charges. If you have more than one dog, your dogs will be walked together but they will not be walked with another group.

Is the Awareness Interview necessary?

Everyone (owners, pets and sitters) need to feel comfortable with each other, and we want the service experience to be pleasant for all. The Awareness Interview let's your walker, or sitter know more about your pet and your pet's home.  It gives owners and sitter/walkers a chance to  understand each others needs and expectations.

What if I am not a pet owner but would like my home looked after?

You do not have to be a pet owner to take advantage of our "lived-in" look for your home, have your mail or parcels brought-in, your plants watered, or your home checked for secured windows and doors, and no leaks, etc..

What is your severe-weather policy?

To ensure the overall safety of our workers, and your pet, we reserve the right to cancel, or delay walks/visits, due to severe weather conditions, or if the schools are closed, or delayed in your area. We will do our best to always provide services, but if we decide to cancel, or delay walks/visits, we will state that in our voice-mail message, or your worker will call and let you know your walk/visit is cancelled, or being delayed. There will be no charges, if we cancel your walk, or visit.

Are you a boarding kennel?

We provide a loving alternative to boarding locations. While you are away, your pets can stay in the comfort of your home (their home) and our pet care professional will provide them with their regular food, play with them, and gives loads of TLC. By simulating your regular routine, your pets will be more comfortable in your absence, and pets needing medication, will receive their meds as prescribed, and on time.
